I am fifteen years old, and I am in the nineth grade this year. I love to play socccer and I really love gymnastics. My favorite food is pupusas.

One word that I would use to describe myself is SWEET. I am also very friendly. I would love to be a Journalist one day. If I could change something in the world it would be that every person would know about the love of God and His sacrifice for us.

I am nineteen years old, and my birthday is on June 11. I am in Senior Year this year. I just moved to the Transition Home this year and want to be a cosmethologyst one day. My favorite subject in school is Math and I love to listen to music and to read. I love horses and spending time with them. My favorite food is tacos.

I am twenty-one years old and my birthday is on August 24. I am in my third year of Business Administration Studies this year. I live at the Bridge, participating in La Casa’s transition program. I love all sports, but my favorites are soccer and volleyball. I like to spend time with my friends, and I enjoy making new friends. I also like to eat pupusas. They are a stuffed tortilla. My favorite are the ones with beans and cheese.

One word that describes me is COMPETITIVE. I want to be a professional soccer player one day and then to be a Business Administrator. I like learning about new things.

I am twenty-two years old, and my birthday is on January 31. I completed my studies in Culinary Arts this year. I live at the Bridge, participating in La Casa’s transition program. I am really enjoying learning culinary skills and practicing my skills in the home.

Words that I would use to describe myself are HAPPY and CREATIVE. I love being creative, doing projects and designing. I also love working on crafts, especially jewelry, when I have free time. I use to want to be a fashion designer one day.

My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13: “ For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” I like this verse because it reminds me that there is nothing that is impossible for us because God gives us strength. I also like the Bible story about the sower. He sows in all kinds of soil, whether good or bad.

Elba Galdamez

I am twenty-three years old and I live at the Bridge, participating in La Casa’s transition program. I am in my fourth year of University Studies in Dietetic and Nutrition this year. I like to help people, especially my friends at school. My goal is to be a Nutritionist one day so that I can help people to be healthy.

One word that I would use to describe myself is “calm”. However, I do like to play soccer and basketball.

My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 17:17: “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.” I like this verse because it talks about how to be a good friend and that families should stick together no matter what happens in life. I also like the story about Job in the Bible. The devil put so many negative things in his life, but with the help of God, Job was able to move forward.

I am twenty-eight years old and lived at La Casa with my older brother for many years. Now I live at The Bridge, participating in La Casa’s transition program. I live in an apartment area upstairs in the home, and I am learning to take care of my own space.

I am now working in the kitchen at a local restaurant. I love to help others. I also love listening to music and riding my bike. I love to share Coca Cola and joke around with my friends.

I am ten years old and my birthday is on June 29. I especially love music and dancing. I enjoy taking long walks around the farm and exploring. I am always finding a way to be active. I also really enjoy eating, and my favorite food to eat is pupusas.
